Mancos Valley Resources offers two types of scholarships for graduates of Mancos High School or current Mancos Valley residents.
NONTRADITIONAL STUDENTS ELIGIBILITY: Graduate of Mancos High School or current Mancos Valley resident who is pursuing a technical degree or returning to college as an older adult.
TRADITIONAL STUDENTS ELIGIBLITY: Graduate of Mancos High School or current Mancos Valley resident who has completed at least one year at an academic college.
Scholarship amounts are determined by available annual funding and the number of qualified applicants.
Minimum Award Amount: $500
Number of Awards Funded Annually: Variable
Submission Materials: Application form, essay, current letter of recommendation
Notification date: July 15th of each year
Eligibility: Must be a graduate of Mancos High School or a current Mancos Valley resident. Previous Arado Scholarship winners may reapply. Mancos Valley Resources board members, contract employees, and their family members are ineligible to apply. Awards may be used for tuition, fees, or materials. Payment will be made directly to the educational institution.
